Parks and Recreation

Supports efforts to increase bicycle and pedestrian access and am working with ACHD to make improvements to the Emerald Lane overpass to help people cross over the Boise connector safely. Also supports a connector pedestrian overpass at Liberty St.
Represents the city on the Parks and Recreation Commission and the Community Planning Association of Southwest Idaho (COMPASS) board.
Public Safety
Supported competitive raises for Boise firefighters and police officers.
Has a track recording of delivering on critical investments for public safety at both the city and legislature.
Helped enhance protections for victims of sexual assault.
Supports accountability efforts to ensure that public safety stays consistent with our values.
Libraries
Understands what libraries mean to this community, especially families with young children.
Supports a library in West Boise and funding to evaluate the city’s broader facilities needs.
